Visits to Other Campuses


Central Wyoming College students visit the University of Wyoming and participate in UW's Transfer Day.

CWC students spent June 2 at the University of Wyoming's Transfer Day to get ready for their transition to UW in the fall.  While there, students attended a Resource Fair, advising and transfer credit sessions, toured the campus, learned to use the WyoWeb System, met with their initial advisors, and registered for their fall semester courses. One of the most important details to know in the transfer process is information about the institution you would like to attend after CWC.

A great way to familiarize you with another school is by making an actual visit to the school. The visit can relieve a great deal of anxiety. The visual experience helps students orient to the campus and also can aid in the final decision of where to attend when a person has more than one option in mind.

TRIO Student Support Services can assist students in the important decision of "Where am I going from here?"

Each year TRIO/Student Support Services plans campus visits to area four-year institutions.

In addition, Student Support Services takes students transferring to University of Wyoming, Laramie campus, to the University's Transfer Day. The Transfer Day is the day, in the spring, for transfer students who have applied and been accepted to UW, can tour campus, register for Fall Semester classes. This is a good opportunity for you to familiarize yourself with Laramie, meet with an advisor, and prepare for the transition to UW.
